The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18444 )
Q 2: Does writing down the hadith complete the Noble Qur'an? And is it true that there is no Sunnah in Islam, that there is only the obligatory, and that if we want to be saved in the Hereafter, we must leave the Sunnah aside and rely only on the Noble Qur'an?
A 2: The pure Sunnah is the second of the sources of evidence in Islam by the consensus of the scholars. It explains the Qur'an, and whoever denies the authority of the Sunnah is a disbeliever; because he is denying a fundamental principle of Islam upon which there is consensus. And Allah the Exalted says:[Al-Hashr 59:7] , and He says, Exalted is He: [An-Nahl 16:44] . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from
وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُواAnd We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them
وَأَنْـزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُـزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ
