Q: What is the explanation of this hadith:Mishkat al-Masabih 167Isnād Da'īf (Zubair `Aliza'i) ? Do not be stingy with your important questions and answers. May Allah bless you, preserve you, and guide your steps.
A: The meaning of the hadith is that a person does not possess complete faith until his desires and intentions align with what came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah (Mighty and Majestic) informed us that obedience to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is the cause for the preservation of deeds. He said:[Al-Hujurat 49:14] . And it is obligatory for the believer not to have a choice when Allah and His Messenger decide a matter; rather, he must submit and surrender. He said: [Al-Ahzab 33:36] .
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
