The second question of Fatwa No. ( 14535 )
Q 2: What is the meaning of the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
When Allah wants good for a slave, He puts him in action.إذا أراد الله بعبد خيرًا استعمله
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2142Sahih (Darussalam)
?

A 2:It was narrated byal-Tirmidhiand others fromAnas(may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When Allah wants good for a slave, He puts him in action." It was said: "How does he put him in action O Messenger Of Allah?" He said: "By making him meet up with the righteous deeds before death."إذا أراد الله بعبد خيرًا استعمله، فقيل: كيف يستعمله يا رسول الله؟ قال: يوفقه لعمل صالح قبل الموت
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2142Sahih (Darussalam)

And al-Tirmidhi said: This is a good, authentic hadith. This hadith indicates that deeds are judged by their endings, and that it is obligatory for the Muslim to adhere to the obedience of Allah the Exalted by doing what He has made obligatory and leaving what He has forbidden, and to strive to provision himself with good deeds as much as he is able, hoping that he will be concluded with them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
