Donations of Non-Muslims: Do They Benefit Them on the Day of Resurrection?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A discussion took place between me and one of the brothers regarding those who do not profess the religion of Islam ( the Christians and the Jews and others). Are the deeds they perform, such as donations to their charitable organizations as they call them, counted for them with Allah? I have told him that Allah does not accept any deed from these people as long as they are on a religion other than Islam, and I read to him the noble verse from the Noble Qur'an. Allah the Exalted said:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
, from Surat al-Furqan, verse number (23). However, he says that these deeds are counted for them. Please give us a ruling on this question, and may Allah reward you with good for the Muslims, and may this work of yours be placed in the scales of your good deeds.

A: The donations of a disbeliever and his deeds that benefit people, such as generosity
Consolation and maintaining family ties do not benefit him in the Hereafter if he dies a disbeliever, because the two conditions for the acceptance of deeds are not present: sincerity for Allah and following His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), as the Exalted said:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
. However, they may benefit him in this world, as the Exalted said:
(15) Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived. (16) Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do.
[Hud 11:15-16]
. Ibn Kathir mentioned in his tafsir, from Anas ibn Malik and al-Hasan al-Basri, that this verse was revealed regarding the Jews and the Christians. And Ibn Abbas said: It was revealed regarding those who show off in their worship. If a disbeliever embraces Islam, he is rewarded for the good he did during his time of disbelief as a favor from Allah the Exalted, due to the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If a disbeliever embraces Islam and his Islam is good, Allah the Exalted will record for him every good deed he did and erase from him every bad deed he did, and his deed after that will be multiplied tenfold up to seven hundred times, and the bad deed will be recorded as it is, unless Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) overlooks it.
. It was narrated by al-Daraqutni in *Gharib Hadith* of Malik from nine chains. And Muslim narrated, from Hakim ibn Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said:
O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What do you think about some good deeds I used to practice in the Pre-Islamic period of ignorance regarding them as deeds of righteousness?' Allah's Apostle said, "You have embraced Islam along with all those good deeds you did."
Sahih al-Bukhari 2538
. It was narrated by Muslim.
