Does the good deed of a disbeliever benefit him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : That is, he gives charity and does good deeds. This does not benefit him. And if he becomes a Muslim, what happens to the deeds he did? How did he give charity...

The Shaykh : Yes, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to 'Amr ibn al-'As:
You accepted Islam with all the previous virtues that you practised. أسلمت على ما أسلفت من خير
Sahih Muslim 123a
He asked a man about his father, who was in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance, used to feed people, honor guests, and do good deeds. Would it benefit him? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If he had become a Muslim, it would have benefited him. This indicates that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) benefits the disbeliever with the good deeds he does during his disbelief if he becomes a Muslim, if he becomes a Muslim.
