The Intended Meaning of Firasah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q12: One of the righteous said: "Whoever spends his outward life following the Sunnah, and his inward life in constant self-observation, lowers his gaze from what is forbidden, restrains himself from doubtful matters, and sustains himself with what is lawful, his firasah will not err regarding him." What is the intended meaning of his statement: "his firasah will not err regarding him"?
J12 : said'Amr ibn Najid: wasShah al-Kirmani- and he was among the worshippers in the third century - sharp in intuition, never missing, and he said: (Whoever lowers his gaze from what is forbidden, restrains his self from desires, fills his inner self with the awareness of Allah, and his outer self with following the Sunnah, and accustoms himself to eating what is lawful, his intuition will not miss).. Intuition is: the ability to know some conditions by some apparent signs. The cause of true intuition is a light that Allah casts into the heart of His servant, by which he distinguishes between the truth and falsehood, and the truthful and the liar. And this intuition is according to the strength of faith, so whoever is stronger in faith, he is sharper in intuition, for it is a type of inspiration, and it is evidenced by His saying, the Exalted:
O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will grant you a criterionيَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ فُرْقَانًا
[Al-Anfal 8:29]
, and in any case, this intuition is not considered a legal proof upon which a ruling is based
rather, a person takes comfort with it in his private matters.
