Q 3: I see some people wearing shoes in the funeral prayer, even though they are standing before Allah. What is the ruling on that?
A 3: It is permissible to wear shoes in prayer, whether in the obligatory prayer, the funeral prayer, or otherwise, provided that they are not ritually impure. This is based on what is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he prayed wearing his sandals. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
