Combining the Maghrib prayer with its sunnah in a single taslim

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 16062 )
Q 1: A brother entered the 'Isha' prayer and prayed five rak'ahs. Some of the brothers asked him why. He said: "I did not pray Maghrib, so I prayed Maghrib and its sunnah together. This is the practice of Abu al-Darda' , the noble Companion. Is that permissible?"
A 1: It is obligatory for one who prays Maghrib and its sunnah as five rak'ahs with a single taslim to repeat the Maghrib prayer as three rak'ahs; because combining them with a single taslim is not permissible, and it is necessary to separate the obligatory prayer from the sunnah with the taslim of the obligatory prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
