Intention of prayer in a language other than Arabic

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 18184 )
Q 1: Is it permissible to intend prayer in a language other than Arabic?
A 1: The place of intention is the heart, and there is no need to vocalize it, neither in Arabic nor in any other language; rather, vocalizing it is a religious innovation. As for the recitation in prayer and the prescribed remembrances therein, it is obligatory to perform them in Arabic, and they are not valid in any other language. It is incumbent upon one who is ignorant of this to learn it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
