Q: Does prayer in the Mosque of Quba increase in reward or rank compared to other ordinary mosques, excluding the two Sacred Mosques? If it is superior to them in rank, what is the evidence for that? Is it the first mosque built in Islam? And is the noble verse that refers to it the statement of Allah the Exalted:[At-Tawbah 9:108]
to the end of the verse.
A: Visiting the Quba' Mosque is a recommended practice without traveling specifically for it, such as for one who is in Madinah . The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to come to the Quba' Mosque every Saturday, walking and riding, and Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do so, as agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And in al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah it is narrated from Usayd ibn Hudayr al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 324Hasan (Darussalam) , and in ( al-Nasa'i ) and (al-Musnad) it is narrated from Sahl ibn Hanif that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Ibn Majah 1412Hasan (Darussalam) Al-Hakim authenticated it and al-Dhahabi agreed with him . The verse indicates that the Quba' Mosque is the first mosque built on the basis of piety. And it has been reported in an authentic hadith that the Prophet's Mosque (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah is the mosque that was built on the basis of piety, and there is no contradiction between the verse and this hadith; because if the Quba' Mosque was built on the basis of piety from the very first day then the Prophet's Mosque (peace and blessings be upon him) is even more so. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.

The Salat in Masjid Quba is like Umrah.
الصلاة في مسجد قباء كعمرةWhoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to the Quba’ Mosque and offers one prayer therein, will have a reward like that for ‘Umrah.
من تطهر في بيته ثم أتى مسجد قباء فصلى فيه صلاة كان له كأجر عمرة
