Writing some verses on the covers of school notebooks
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 19420 )
Q1: We want to prepare school notebooks that have the Verse of the Throne written on their covers or some dhikr, and we sell them to students. Is this permissible?
A1 : It is not permissible to write the Qur'an in a way that it is disgraced. Writing the verse on the covers of students' notebooks involves degrading it and exposing the Qur'an to insult, such that these notebooks are thrown on the ground, and in the end they are placed in the trash, among other harms. Therefore, this action is not permissible for you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
