The claim that the caliphate belonged to 'Ali

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The tenth question of the fatwa numbered ( 20619 )
Q 10: Among the beliefs of the Zaydiyyah is that the caliphate was for 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) , and that the Companions wronged him and took his right, and that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had bequeathed the caliphate to him after his death.
A 10: The caliphate after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was for Abu Bakr then 'Umar then 'Uthman then 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with them), and this was by the consensus of the Muslims. Whoever disagrees regarding the caliphate of any one of these is misguided, opposing what the people of the Sunnah and the community hold, namely the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and their followers with excellence. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
