They do not enter upon a woman when she gives birth

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 17686 )
Q: Many men and women among us believe that if a woman has given birth or miscarried, and another woman, a circumcised child, or a person who has just returned from the market, or other things they mention, enters upon her, then this woman is affected by it. She may suffer from illnesses, such as infertility, inability to conceive, or the failure of milk to come to her breasts, or she may suffer from other symptoms whose description would be lengthy. Many people swear that this matter is proven and has happened to so-and-so and so-and-so.
The question is: Is this matter correct and recognized in the Shari'ah, that women can be affected in the manner described? If so, what is the treatment? If not, how do we treat the cases that occur and are believed to have happened for this reason? Because people resort to wrong methods that contradict the Shari'ah, such as bringing to the sick woman something from the person who entered upon her (such as a little of his blood or urine, may Allah protect you), and the woman passes over it and is healed, they claim, by this method that contradicts the Shari'ah. Please issue a ruling, may you be rewarded, and may Allah reward you with good.

A: What is mentioned regarding the woman being affected when she gives birth or miscarries by the entry of any of the persons mentioned above has no basis. It is a false belief that must be abandoned and not heeded, and one should rely upon Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). The fact that some women have experienced some effect is a trial for some women due to the corrupt belief, and the influence of Satan to mislead those who hold this belief. It is obligatory for the Muslim to rely upon Allah and say:
Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely.لَنْ يُصِيبَنَا إِلا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلانَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
[At-Tawbah 9:51]
.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
