Hitting a cat with his car unintentionally
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 10489 )
Q 1: A man hit a cat with his car unintentionally , so what is required of him? And another man intentionally killed it, saying: "It harms me by eating his chickens." What is the ruling for the first and the second, and what is required of them? May Allah guide you to all good.
A 1 : There is no blame on the one who killed the cat unintentionally; because he killed it by mistake, and mistakes in this and similar cases are lifted. And there is no blame on the second for killing the cat; because it is harmful. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
