Warning the People About a Man Who Is an Open Sinner

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of the fatwa numbered ( 9895 )
Q6: Is warning people about a man who is an open sinner and known for his open sinfulness considered backbiting about which a person will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection?
A6 : If the situation is as described, and mentioning him with what is in him is to warn people of his evil so that those who do not know him are not deceived by him, it is permissible. And if that is for pleasure, amusement, or the like, it is not permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
