Addendum for the sake of benefit: Types of permissible backbiting. The fourth type: "And one who openly commits open sinfulness."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And one who openly commits open sinfulness" This is the greatest matter in which Muslims must advise one another. When we see a Muslim associating with a Muslim, or a Muslim woman associating with an open sinner—and how many open sinners there are in our time—because merely for a woman to leave her house displaying her adornment, not wearing the jilbab that her Lord has made obligatory upon her, is open sinfulness and lewdness. This is because she contradicts the clear text of the Noble Qur'an, where the Lord of the Worlds says:
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments يأيها النبي قل لأزواجك وبناتك ونساء المؤمنين يدنين عليهن من جلابيبهن
[Al-Ahzab 33:59]
So when we see a believing girl who is modest and has opposed the entire society out of fear of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), and does not care about the people, men and women, who are open sinners and open sinners, yet she associates and socializes with someone who is not like her in her modesty and her covering, she must be warned against associating with her...
The warning, which is the third type, is different from one who does not openly commit open sinfulness. Because the third type may have nothing in their appearance that indicates the corruption of their inner self, and yet one says to their companion about their description and characteristics: So-and-so has such and such characteristics, so beware of her.
As for the fourth type: "And one who openly commits open sinfulness"
She publicly declares her opposition to her religion and her disobedience to her Lord. This type is subject to backbiting. Why? To warn her, or this type, so that perhaps he may repent and turn to his Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He).
One who openly commits open sinfulness has no backbiting, and a clear hadith has come regarding this, but its chain of narration is not authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Its wording is: "There is no backbiting for an open sinner" But it is a weak hadith, even though its meaning is correct.
