Q6: One of the employees lied about his colleague at work by making a false accusation to the head of the workplace. He actually succeeded in making the head of the workplace hate him, and he submitted false reports about the other employee. The first one actually admitted to his action, on the grounds that the head of the workplace was ignorant and young in age, and that he had to flatter him in order to get a livelihood and earn money. So the one who was lied about, in turn, took revenge on him by making a false accusation against him to a government official to prevent him from obtaining an agricultural loan, and he succeeded in doing so. What is the ruling on the action of the second employee? It is known that the first employee is the aggressor by his own personal admission.
A6: Each of them has done wrong by what he did, and it is obligatory for each of them to seek forgiveness from the other for the injustice he committed against him. If that does not happen, then Allah is the One who will judge between His servants on the Day of Resurrection, along with the obligation for each of them to hasten to repent to Allah, the Exalted and Majestic. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
