Taking a woman to the graveyards in order for her to become pregnant

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 15398 )
Q 2: In the country where I live, it is believed that a woman who
is delayed in becoming pregnant by several months after marriage, they will take her to the graveyards, or say: she is mishawharah (meaning a woman who has been entered upon without permission) or they will take her to the places where cows are slaughtered (slaughterhouses) to hasten pregnancy. What is the ruling in Islam?

A 2 : It is not permissible to take a woman who has not become pregnant to the graveyards in order to seek pregnancy; because this is supplication to the dead, and seeking their aid in fulfilling needs is major shirk (associating partners with Allah), and a false belief. The One to be called upon for seeking a child and other needs is Allah alone, who has no partner. Allah the Exalted said:
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you."وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ
[Ghafir 40:60]
, and Allah the Exalted said:
so do not invoke with Allah anyone.فَلا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا
[Al-Jinn 72:18]
. Likewise, it is not permissible to slaughter cows in order to seek pregnancy; because this is slaughter for other than Allah, and it is major shirk (associating partners with Allah) if the intention is to draw near to the jinn or other created beings, or it is a bid'ah (religious innovation) if the intention is to slaughter for Allah in order to seek pregnancy. In any case, it is not permissible, and it is obligatory to repent to Allah for what has occurred, and not to return to doing it, along with the obligation to forbid it and warn against it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
