Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 20795 )
Q 1: Is it permissible to congratulate non-Muslims on the new Gregorian year , the new Hijri year, and the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?
A 1: It is not permissible to congratulate on these occasions, because celebrating them is not prescribed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
