Fatwa number ( 13718 )
Q: Allah has granted me a beautiful voice, and often I am praised and complimented, and I like this, but I fear that it will be said: "You recited the Qur'an so that it would be said about you that you are a reciter" , and indeed it has been said. And I fear this. Is there a supplication I should say at that time?
A: It is obligatory for you not to be deluded by your beautiful voice or by the praise you receive,
and not to be deceived by it, and it is not permissible for this to prevent you from continuing to recite with your beautiful voice. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
