The questioner : A person saying, “O honorableThe Shaykh : O Allah, grant me a beautiful wife,” and he is in prayer; what is the ruling on this?

The Shaykh : There is nothing wrong with it, but I would like to add something else to that: one who is religious. He should say: “O Allah, grant me a beautiful wife who is religious,” because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. So seize the one who is religious, and may your right hand be rubbed in the dust. تنكح المرأة لأربع: لمالها، وحسبها، وجمالها، ودينها، فاظفر بذات الدين تربت يمينك
Some scholars said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not mention religion last except for a wisdom, meaning that you ask first about her beauty: is she beautiful or not? If they say she is beautiful, you have secured the beauty. About her wealth: is she poor or rich? If rich, you have secured the wealth. About her lineage: is she of noble status in her people or not? They say her lineage is good, so you have secured the lineage. How much have you secured? Three things. About her religion? They say her religion is moderate. So I will not marry her. Thus, his decision to proceed or refrain is based on the woman’s religion. It is based on the woman’s religion, and this is undoubtedly a profound wisdom.
In any case: if a person chooses a beautiful woman, let him add to that that she is religious. “O Allah, grant me a beautiful woman who is religious,” or “a righteous, religious woman,” or something similar. Yes, or “a beautiful, religious woman,” or something similar. As for the statement of some scholars that it is not permissible for a person to supplicate in his prayer for something related to worldly matters, that is a weak statement. Because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the tashahhud, he said:
Then let him choose from the supplications whatever he wishes. ثم ليتخيّر من الدعاء ما شاء
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:238
So he left the matter up to what the person wants. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you and bless you. The questioner, Umm Usamah, says, “O honorable Shaykh, she
