After slaughtering chickens, they are placed in hot water; does this affect their edibility?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 5563 )
Q1: There are many chicken slaughtering factories in Mauritius , and it happens there that the workers place the chickens in hot water to remove their feathers, and this is done before they remove the intestines from inside the chickens, and as a result, the waste mixes with the chicken meat. Is this meat considered halal to eat?
A1: This meat is considered halal to eat, and placing the animal in hot water after slaughtering it has no effect on the permissibility of eating its meat. However, it is obligatory to delay placing it in the water until its movement ceases.
Q2: What are the parts of the animal that are forbidden to eat ?
A2: For any animal whose meat is permitted, it is permissible to eat all of its parts after it has been slaughtered or ritually slaughtered according to the Shari'ah. Likewise, for any animal that does not require slaughter to become halal, such as fish and locusts, it is permissible to eat all of its parts. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
