Oaths of idle talk and their definition

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 5528 )
Q4: Explain to me the oath of idle talk and its definition
A4: Idle talk: when one swears to something believing it to be as he swore, then
it turns out to be otherwise, such as: when one swears that so-and-so is in the house, then it is found that he is not in it, or when one swears that he is not in it, then it is found that he is in it. Likewise, it includes the Muslim saying: "No, by Allah," or "Yes, by Allah," without the intention of swearing. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
