The first question of Fatwa No. ( 11292 )
Q1: Is it true that eating at the table (dining room) is imitating the disbelievers , and is using a spoon or fork while eating an act of arrogance, or imitating the disbelievers?
A1 : There is no harm in eating at the table or similar items mentioned, nor in eating with a fork and spoon or similar items, and this is not imitating the disbelievers; because it is not something specific to them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
