Cooperation Between Islamic Groups

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q 4: Based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:2]
, it is said that it is obligatoryto cooperate with all Islamic groups, even though they differ in their methodologies and paths of da'wah (calling others to Islam), for the Tabligh group's path of da'wah is different from that of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Tahrir Party, the Jihad group, or the Salafis. What is the criterion for this cooperation? Is it limited, for example, to participating in conferences and seminars? And what about when directing the da'wah to non-Muslims? There may be great confusion among new Muslims, as each of these groups will direct them to
To their centers and their scholars, so they will be in a state of bewilderment. How can these matters be avoided?

A 5: It is obligatory to cooperate with the group that follows the methodology of the Book and the Sunnah and what the Salaf of the Ummah were upon in calling to the oneness of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), to the sincerity of worship for Him, and to warning against shirk (associating partners with Allah), bid'ah (religious innovation), and sins. One should also give sincere advice to groups that deviate from this. If they return to the truth, then one cooperates with them. If they persist in deviation, it is obligatory to distance oneself from them and adhere to the Book and the Sunnah. Cooperation with the group that adheres to the methodology of the Book and the Sunnah is in everything that contains good, righteousness, and taqwa (mindfulness of Allah), such as seminars, conferences, lessons, and lectures, and everything that is beneficial for Islam and Muslims. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
