Question:
In the verse: — (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression), how is cooperation to be carried out if a person from the household is unruly and does not carry out the commands of Allah? How do we deal with him, given that all the members of the household are cooperating?

Answer:
Answer: — Cooperation with this person is by commanding him to obey Allah and forbidding him from sin. This is assisting him, so that perhaps he may repent, and this is the greatest form of assistance for him. He should not be left alone or boycotted without being advised and clarified to him, so that perhaps he may repent. This is what constitutes cooperation in righteousness and piety.
