The first question of Fatwa No. ( 10747 )
Q 1: I work as an imam and mu'adhdhin for the Waqf. Since the salary is not sufficient to meet my essential needs and those of my family, is there any prohibition if I look for additional work that does not conflict with my primary job or the times of the adhan? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you.
A 1: If the additional work does not conflict with your official duties, there is no blame on you for doing it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
