Fatwa number ( 14364 )
Q: Ifan employee’s salary is deducted for the days he was absent, and he is reluctant to return it to his employer, should he pay it to the public treasury, or give it in charity to the mujahideenor others?
A: If an employee is not permitted to be absent for days of absence, he must return the salaries for those days to the entity where he works. If that is difficult or would cause great harm, he should give it in charity to the poor. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
