Fatwa No. ( 11775 )
Q: What is the ruling in the religion regarding a man who recounts that he arrived late and could not find any means of transportation to get there. He was standing near a grocery store owner, who informed him that all means of transportation had left. The man then said, “O Yusuf.” Suddenly, a Mercedes car arrived, with a man wrapped in clothes inside. It stopped next to the man who had said, “O Yusuf.” The grocery store owner was astonished by this event and tried to identify the driver of the car, but he could not. The man who had said, “O Yusuf” got in with him, and he drove him. Some people consider this man to be a righteous close friend of Allah, while others view it as nonsense, sorcery, superstitions, and Satanic innovations. Please provide information, may Allah reward you.
A : This is seeking aid from other than Allah the Exalted, and it is shirk (associating partners with Allah). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
