Evolution and Ascent: Darwin's Theory

The first question of Fatwa No. ( 2872 )
Q 1: We have learned something about the theory of (evolution) and everything related to creation through our school curricula. The more I read on this subject, the more convinced I become that Allah is the Creator of the universe and what is in it. But to my complete surprise, I was shocked to find a book written by one of the Muslims supporting the theory of evolution, citing the Qur'an as evidence. Also, one of my Muslim teachers asked me: Since Islam forbids marriage between a brother and a sister, how did the descendants of Adam and Hawwa get married?
A 1 : The theory of evolution, known as ( Darwin's ) theory, contradicts the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and the consensus of the people of knowledge and faith. It is established in the Qur'an and Sunnah that Adam was created from dust, and his wife Hawwa was created from him. As for Adam (peace be upon him) marrying his sons to his daughters, that is a matter in which he followed a law that Allah prescribed for him, and it is not for us to delve into it. As for the Shari'ah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Allah has forbidden marriage between a brother and a sister, and other known prohibitions in this Shari'ah. And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said
in His Noble Book, when He mentioned the Shari'ah of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an:
To each of you We prescribed a law and a method
لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا
