Eating the meat of one whose creed is unknown

The third question of Fatwa No. ( 7533 )
Q 3: What is the ruling on eating the meat of one whose creed is unknown ? For example, in this age, truth and falsehood have become mixed, and some people have fallen into shirk (associating partners with Allah) and kufr (disbelief) by abandoning prayer, slaughtering and making vows for other than Allah, mocking and fighting committed Muslims, mocking the rulings of Allah, cursing time, worshipping wealth, status, and clothing, cursing the religion, and so on. The meat is slaughtered in a large place, and the slaughter is done by hand, not with an electric machine, for example, but we do not know the state of the person who slaughters. He is completely unknown to us because he gives the meat to a seller who has a shop, and we buy from this butcher. The slaughterer might be a Muslim, or he might be a non-Muslim, meaning: one who has fallen into shirk or kufr, so we have no knowledge of him. He is unknown in his identity and creed. So what do we do? Do we eat the meat, or do we leave it to avoid doubts, knowing that there is no meat available except in this way? For example, in the whole town, the situation with the slaughtered animal is different: if there is a person we know who slaughters in his home, and he is a Muslim in appearance, meaning he prays, and we do not see him slaughtering or making vows for other than Allah in an obvious way, or no state of shirk has appeared in him, and he does not curse the religion, do we eat his slaughtered meat until a sign of kufr appears in him, or are we required to investigate and scrutinize him and know everything about his Islam, or do we leave his meat?
A 3 : If a person is a Muslim in appearance, but his state regarding
innovations is unknown, you eat his slaughtered meat by acting on the appearance and by having a good opinion of him. However, if it becomes clear that he slaughters for the jinn or for the lords of graves, or if it becomes clear that he abandons prayer intentionally, or something similar to that from the things that make one a disbeliever, then his slaughtered meat is not eaten. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
