Eating the meat of a sacrificial animal slaughtered in the name of a wali

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 8659 ):
Q1: We have people who visit the graves of the awliya (close friends of Allah) and make vows to them with sacrificial animals, which they slaughter with the intention of fulfilling their vows to the wali, and they distribute the meat among the neighbors of the graves or the neighbors of the dome they visit. Is it lawful to eat the meat of a sacrificial animal that is in the name of the wali , or is this what Allah the Exalted mentioned in His saying:
Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allahحُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْـزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:3]
?

A1: If the situation is as described, it is not permissible to eat from these sacrificial animals; because they are among those dedicated to other than Allah, and this act is major shirk (associating partners with Allah); due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
(162) Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. (163) No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims."
[Al-An'am 6:162-163]
, and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Allah cursed him who sacrificed for anyone besides Allahلعن الله من ذبح لغير الله
Sahih Muslim 1978b
. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
