Purification with Cologne and Alcohol

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 3900 )
Q2: What is the ruling on cologne and alcohol if they are used for medical purposes, such as purifying wounds and sterilizing? What is the ruling on beer as well, and what is your opinion of beer that is labeled as alcohol-free?
A2 : If cologne and alcohol are used for medical purposes, such as purifying wounds and sterilizing, there is nothing wrong with that. As for beer, if it contains any amount of alcohol, even if it is small, provided that a large quantity of it would cause intoxication, then it is not permissible to use it. If it is free of alcohol, the original ruling for things is that they are lawful.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
