What is the ruling on drinking alcohol-free beer?
Drinking beer is permissible, and all the beer in our country, Saudi Arabia, has been tested and contains no intoxicating substance. So if a person drinks it, he falls under the general statement of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: [al-Baqarah: 29] And if you are in doubt about something, whether it is lawful or forbidden, it is lawful. If you are in doubt about a food, drink, or clothing, whether it is forbidden or lawful, consider it lawful until evidence establishes that it is forbidden.
