His father mocks his beard
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 4042 )
Q 4: My father completely opposes me in letting my beard grow , and he often mocks the bearded Muslim, and he threatens to expel me from the house if I let my beard grow, and my mother does not obey my command to forbid her from going out to the markets and to condolence gatherings, and she goes to the graves of the dead for a few days on the pretext of visiting the dead.
A 4: First: Letting the beard grow is obligatory, and it is not permissible for you to obey your father or anyone else in shaving it, even if he expels you from the house for it.[At-Talaq 65:2] Second: You must continue to advise your father and your mother to abandon the wrongdoings you mentioned, and to call them to it with gentleness and softness as much as you can, and be assured of success, guidance, and great reward if you are patient
and truthful, and sincere in your work for Allah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
