A: It is permissible to eat sea turtles and crocodiles; because it is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the sea when he was asked about it:Sunan Abi Dawud 83Sahih (Al-Albani) . Likewise, it is permissible to eat the wild ass; because the prohibition was only mentioned regarding the
domestic donkey. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
