The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7792 )
Q2: I hope you will inform me about whether it is better for a person to seek medicine when he falls ill or not , and about the meaning of the hadith: May Allah reward you with good.
A2: Seeking medical treatment is better; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did it and ordered it, and leaving it off is not a problem, and the mentioned hadith is valid, and its meaning is: that whoever Allah takes the light of his eyes from, and he is patient, Allah compensates him with Paradise. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
