Exposing the 'awrah (part of the body that must be covered) of a Muslim woman to a doctor during childbirth

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 6810 )
Q 1: I am in a country that has no female surgeons, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, and there is a major problem, and we want to find a way out of it, and that is in the context of obeying Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and obeying His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). My wife is pregnant, and it has been repeated that most women before her resort to a surgeon during childbirth, where they call for a female doctor at the time of delivery, but the female doctor quickly requests a male surgeon, due to the difficulty of natural delivery. Is it permissible in this case for her to expose herself to the doctor? With the note that sometimes, due to the difficulty of delivery, the mother may be exposed to danger if the doctor does not perform a surgical operation on her. Please inform us, may Allah reward you. .
A 1: If the situation is as you described, a dispensation is granted for her to allow a doctor to examine her and deliver the baby due to dire necessity. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
