Performing a procedure to abort the child after the soul has been breathed into it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 20791 )
Q 3: My husband used to work at a university in Kuwait . After the Iraqi invasion in 1990, my husband remained unemployed, and we had to borrow money to provide food for our three children. In 1991, under these circumstances, I became pregnant until the fifth month, and I insisted on having a procedure to abort the child, after the soul had been breathed into it. Then I regretted committing this great sin greatly. By the grace of Allah, I gave birth to two children in 1998 and 1999, and I gave birth to the other child in Shawwal 1419 AH at King Fahd University Hospital.
How do I make expiation for the sin I committed in 1991 when I aborted the child and killed the soul whose killing Allah has forbidden? Is it sufficient for me to pray the prayer of repentance and then seek Allah's forgiveness, and is there anything else I should do for the sake of forgiveness?

Vol. 3: The abortion that occurred on your part is a forbidden act. You must repent to Allah and not return to such an act. You owe the blood money for the fetus if its heirs demand it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
