Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 6391 )
Q5: Is it permissible to divorce a woman who does not pray, after all means have been taken to make her pray, but she did not accept?
A5: If you advised her and she did not pray, it is obligatory to divorce her; because she is a disbeliever by consensus if she denies its obligation, and according to the correct of the scholars' opinions if she does not deny its obligation. And Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Mumtahanah 60:10] And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
