What is the manner of tawruk and what is its ruling?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding tawruk, perhaps some of the brothers do not know its manner, so what is its manner and its ruling?

The Shaykh : In the prayer, there are three manners of sitting, all of which are prescribed. The first manner is tawruk, the second is iftirash, and the third is tarbi'. Tarbi', iftirash, and tawruk.
As for tarbi', it is a recommended practice (sunnah) for one who prays sitting in the place of standing. In other words, if he prays sitting, then in the state of standing—meaning in the state where he would be standing—he should be in the tarbi' position. Thus, he should be in the tarbi' position before bowing, during bowing, and when he rises from bowing. This is for the one who prays sitting.
As for iftirash, it is recommended in the sitting between the two prostrations, and in the tashahhud in every prayer that has only one tashahhud, and in the first tashahhud in every prayer that has two tashahhuds.
As for tawruk, it is in the second tashahhud of every prayer that has two tashahhuds. So tawruk is in the second tashahhud.
As for tarbi', it is that one sits on his buttocks and brings his shins to his thighs.
As for iftirash, it is that one spreads his left leg and extends his right leg. And as for tawruk, it is that one sits like iftirash, except that he places his buttocks on the ground and brings his left leg out from under the shin of his right leg.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
