A6, 7: Yes, a woman’s face is 'awrah (the part of the body that must be covered), as indicated by the evidence of the Shari'ah (Islamic sacred law). As for what a woman is permitted to display of her adornment to her mahrams (relatives one may not marry) other than her husband, it is: her face, her hands, her anklets, her earrings, her bracelets, her necklace and its location, her head, and her feet. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
