Applying henna on the wedding night

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 9652 )
Q3: Regarding henna on the wedding night, and this is how it is done: The groom sits in the middle of a group of his friends who have been invited to the wedding, and a woman from his family approaches, either wearing an Islamic hijab or with her arms and head uncovered, and places a plate containing henna in front of her. After a short time, she applies henna to the groom's right index finger, and to his friends who wish to have it. After this, he begins collecting money from his friends and the wedding guests. The question is: Is this practice part of the Islamic Shari'ah or not? Because it helps the groom by collecting money. And is it permissible for a young woman wearing a hijab, or an elderly woman, to appear before men?
A3: This practice in this manner is not permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
