There is no harm in writing the deferred portion in the marriage contract

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The ninth question from the fatwa number ( 9507 )
Q9: People have become accustomed to writing a deferred mahr, even though this was not mentioned at the beginning of the agreement, and it is often contrary to the truth, such as writing a mahr of one dinar and writing a thousand as the deferred portion, so what is the ruling on this in the Shari'ah?
A9: There is no harm in writing the deferred mahr in the marriage contract
according to the agreement, and if a dispute arises between the two parties, that is referred to the Shari'ah court. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
