May the father take from his daughter's bridal gift?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 3113 )
Q1: Is it permissible for the father to take anything from his daughter's bridal gift, and likewise for her guardian in her marriage contract?
A1: Her father may take whatever he wishes from her bridal gift with her consent, and likewise from what she owns other than her bridal gift. He may also take from her wealth and her bridal gift whatever does not harm her, on the condition that he does not give it to any of her other children. As for the one who took charge of her marriage contract, whether an agent or a testamentary guardian, he may not take anything from her wealth except with her consent if she is of sound mind, whether it is a bridal gift or otherwise. Likewise, all her other guardians, other than her father, may not take anything from her bridal gift except with her consent. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
