How to divide inherited real estate and movable property in cases of agreement and disagreement among the heirs

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 5177 )
Q2: How are inherited real estate and movable property, such as cars, trade equipment, and the like, divided in cases of agreement and disagreement among the heirs? And how is a rented commercial shop divided (i.e., the deceased was renting it from someone else) if we say that the lease contract is inherited, given that the heirs cannot benefit from these items in common among themselves?
A2: They are divided among them according to the Islamic law of inheritance by means of experts in appraisal. If they agree among themselves on the division and they are of sound mind, there is no harm. If they dispute, the dispute is referred to the Sharia court. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
