Q: Her husband was kind to her in their relationship and fulfilled all his rights toward her. She has a house she wishes to dedicate to the sacrificial animal and acts of righteousness. She asks whether it is permissible for her to include him and his parents in the sacrifice, even though she has not seen any good from his family from the day they came to her until Allah took him?
A: It is permissible for the questioner to include her husband and his parents in the sacrificial animal she intends to dedicate her house to, as well as in acts of righteousness. The fact that she has not seen any good from his family does not prevent this, for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has encouraged forgiveness in general. He the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:237] , and He the Exalted said: [Ash-Shuraa 42:40] . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
