Q2: Your Eminence, the Shaykh: I live with my father. Is it permissible for my father to slaughter one sacrificial animal, or should I slaughter one for myself?
A2: Every person may offer a sacrifice with a sheep on behalf of himself and his household. If your father offers a sacrifice and includes you in it, it suffices for you in place of slaughtering another sacrifice, because you are included in his household. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
