The Meaning of His Saying, “And every soul will come, … so your sight will be sharp today”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
(21) And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. (22) [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." وجاءت كل نفس معها سائق وشهيد لقد كنت في غفلة من هذا فكشفنا عنك غطاءك فبصرك اليوم حديد
[Qaf 50:21-22]
And by Allah, we are heedless of this; we are negligent, absorbed in our worldly lives, distracted from our Hereafter. We will see with a strong, sharp sight what will happen on the Day of Resurrection when that day arrives.
That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. (21) And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. (22) [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." ذلك يوم الوعيد وجاءت كل نفس معها سائق وشهيد لقد كنت في غفلة من هذا فكشفنا عنك غطاءك فبصرك اليوم حديد
[Qaf 50:20-22]
