The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6931 )
Q1: Does the hadith that says:
Every piece of flesh that grows from what is forbidden, the Fire is more deserving of itكل لحم نبت من حرام فالنار أولى به
apply to a foundling?

A1: The hadith mentioned is general regarding the consumption of what is forbidden, and it is one of the hadiths of warning. It does not include the foundling in any way, because he has no sin, and neither he nor anyone else is held accountable for the sin of another.
Allah the Exalted said:
and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of anotherوَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى
[Al-An'am 6:164]
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
